These leather shelf straps are made with a premium natural vegetable tanned leather. Team these with a simple wooden plank cut to fit any space and you have the perfect shelf for hanging at home, in the office, bathroom, nursery or in the hallway. Great for displaying books, plants or simply to show off any pretty items you may have.
These sturdy 3mm leather straps are lovingly finished, conditioned and complemented by either gold or silver screw caps, your choice.
The shelf in the image:
- The ‘drop’ of the shelf is approx 31cm
- The plank of wood is 18.5cm wide, 18mm thick.
- The length of the shelf in the image is 46cm long to fit in the space shown. Though you can of course make yours longer.
You will receive:
1. Two leather straps (The natural leather will soften and beautifully darken slightly with use and age).
2. Screws and screw caps in the colour of your choice.

*The wood for the shelf was purchased from Bunnings Australia. A plank of pine 19mm x 185mm x 1.23m is approx AUD$10
Easy to install;
- Mark and drill two holes in the wall at a distance shorter than the plank of wood you will use as the shelf.
- Place the screws provided through the leather and into the wall, and finish off with the screw caps provided.
- Slide the plank of wood through the loops, and you are ready to display your favourite items on your fancy new shelf!
